Regulatory And Compliance

The European Commission has been working since 2009 to improve market transparency for retail investors and to strengthen consumer confidence in financial markets. In line with the UCITS DICI imposed on management companies since 2012, the PRIIPS Regulation aims to provide clear and precise information to investors in a packaged retail or insurance-based product via the creation of a single document, the DIC (or KID).

  • What are the changes brought about by this new regulation?
  • Who are the players concerned?
  • What is the consistency between MiFID 2 and PRIIPS?
  • Can’t too much transparency lead to a lack of clarity for the investor?

These are all questions for which Ailancy sheds light in its publication “PRIIPS, From producer to investor, what chance do we have of finding our way around?
