Today in France, there are about 10 million carers according to the government. The carer accompanies vulnerable people whatever the nature of their dependence: disability, parenthood, illness, loss of autonomy due to ageing. Today, 36% of the people being helped are elderly people who have lost their autonomy [1].

This last problem will become more acute as the population ages, making dependency linked to old age one of the challenges of tomorrow. In this context of dependence, the lives of relatives are turned upside down to become carers.
